Can you believe that 2023 is in its final 4 months!! This year has flown by, and I have been so blessed to have so many wonderful returning and new clients! I appreciate each and every one of you!

As the years have gone on, I have photographed many things from births, newborns, kids, seniors, family, weddings, adoptions and many more! And as the years have passed, I have decided to narrow down what I want to photograph and choose those things that spark the most joy for me! So as of now (who knows what will change over time!) I will no longer offer wedding photography or senior sessions. As most of you who have met me know, my happy place is with the littles! Babies and kids are definitely my calling and hold a special place in my heart! I will still hold a limited amount of family sessions in the fall and births as due dates will allow!

On a more serious note, I will be having surgery on my wrist in December which will impact my ability to offer sessions for a few weeks. If you have a baby or milestone for your kiddo that is needed around that time my best advice would be to schedule that now and if it happens to fall in the time frame, I cannot work I will send you my favorite recommendations for another photographer who can best meet your needs!

Now… Let’s bring on the best time of year! SPOOKY SEASON and fall of course! ❤

FAll 2020!

Hey ladies and Gents! I want to thank you all who have continued to support my business during this crazy hectic time! 2020 has been a roller coaster of a ride for everyone, myself included! I’m happy to see that this hasn’t put a damper on being able to provide you all with happy memories of this year!

My fall sessions are all booked up for the rest of the year and I am now booking winter and spring sessions! A little advice for getting your fall sessions secured: I typically start booking my fall sessions around April/May! Seems early but if you love those fall colors and the cooler photo shoot weather that is the time frame you will want to email me next year to make sure you secure your spot!

Christmas minis are live and I do have a couple more spots open on each day if you are interested!

Hello friends – family – clients!

I hope everyone is enjoying this fall weather as much as I am!! I don’t know about you, but there is nothing better than Halloween month!!

So since the last time I updated this (I’m awful at it I know!) I have had my daughter, Peach is her nickname, and she is almost 1!!

I also had ACL surgery in July and am on the mend, hoping to be fully recovered this winter!  However, I am back and taking photos again indoors and out!

For the rest of 2018 I will be using the current price guide listed on my site. In 2019 there will be some changes to my Cake Smash pricing. IF you have a child that is turning 1 in 2019 and want to prepay for your session before the pricing goes up I will allow that up until Dec 31st 2018!

I will also be adding 2 new newborn session options in addition to the regular session so be on the look out for that!

Since my knee is still not completely healed I will not be offering Christmas minis this year, but they and a few other surprise mini sessions will be back in full swing in 2019! If you are interested in a Christmas shoot for your littles I will be happy to get you in the books for your own full session!

This year is a year of changes!

First change- I am now offering 10% off new session fees to all existing clients all the time!!!!

Second change- I am no longer offering wedding services. I love the idea of wedding photography but its just not my calling! I am blessed to have captured some beautiful weddings this past year!

Third change- Is a change in my family! I am expecting a new little human later this year which means my fall sessions will be very limited! Booking in advance is a must this year as I will be cutting my work flow in half.

I am beyond thankful and surprised and the growth of my business so far this year!! Its hard to imagine that just over a year ago I started this journey of taking photos for others.  Since then 99% of everything I’ve learned has been completely self taught and seeing my progress for that reason alone is amazing! I will officially be taking my first newborn photography workshop this coming weekend in Chicago Illinois and I cant freaking wait!!

I LOVE taking photos of families and watching everyone grow! However Newborn photography is where my heart is!  Maybe because it helps keep my baby fever at bay… or maybe because who wouldn’t want to spend their time cuddling all those adorable squishy babies!?  I cant wait to take my photography to the next level and bring back all my new knowledge!

Welcome to my website!

I am the owner and sole photographer for Ashley Knutson Photography!  I am located in the Quad Cities. I was born and raised here and proud to call it home!

My love for photography has been around since high school as I was on our Yearbook committee, but my biggest inspiration came after the birth of my son!  I specialize in natural light photography of infants, children, families and more! I do have the accommodations for studio work however when the winter comes!

It is my goal to provide you and your loved ones with captured moments that you will hang on your walls and be able to cherish for a lifetime. There is not greater feeling then seeing the smile of a client after viewing their images!
